MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT
We conduct our business fairly, ethically and with respect to fundamental human rights. We are committed to the prevention of all forms of Modern Slavery, both in our business and in our supply chains. We will not tolerate it.
Our supply chain is very small we work with only two small Scottish textile mills, both of whom pay all their employees a full and fair wage in accordance with UK law. They also practice equal opportunities in the work place, and examples of the organisation commitment to achieving equality of opportunity in every area of its work can be found in their employee hand books. In the interest of full transparency we make sure that both our suppliers regularly receive the SMETA CAPR audit by Sedex and these reports are available upon request.
We believe in the heritage of these mills and are proud to work with them because it helps to keep important and age-old skills alive in these local communities. The skills of knitting, textile finishing and spinning have been practiced in these parts of Scotland for generations and both our mills have been in existence for over a hundred years.
